Zhetigen is Kazakh musical instrument, which remains in its original form.
On the right side of the coin in the left part two line legend “500 TENGE” indicated face value of the coin. On the right part two legends “Ag 925” and “24 gr.” indicate production metal of the coin, its standard and weight. The center represents an image of a girl with musical instrument “zhetigen”. Along the circumference there are legends on the mat part and relief legend “REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN” on the bright part.
The reverse side of the coin shows images of two types of Kazakh national musical instrument – zhetigen and conventionalized image of stave. In the middle vertical figure “2004” indicates the year of coinage. Top right part of the coin shows a trademark of Kazakhstan Mint. Along the circumference there is a legend “ZHETIGEN” on the mat surface.
Mintage: 3 000.
The coin comes in capsule with certificate of authencity (COA) and in original box.
