The coin of Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) quality comes in Thermal Vacuum Package (TVP). The mintage is 1000.

Rare and hard to find coin! Second Kazakhstan nickel coin in TVP.

Date of issue: 5 July 2008.

Diameter – 31 mm, weight – 11,37 gram

Images and inscriptions of observe and back sides of coins are relief.

The lateral surface (drove) is grooved with 10 sectors of corrugation.

On the face of the coin (averse), on its upper side the state emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan is located and under it there is a two-line inscription “50 TENGE”. From the right and left side of the denomination there is the element of national ornament. On the circumference there is the legend “NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN”.

On the back side of the coin, on its central part there is an image of a Tien Shan Brown Bear against a background of forest bush. On the circumference there is the legend with the name of the coin  in Kazakh language and “URSUS ARCTOS ISABELLINUS” Latin name. Figure “2008” indicates the year of coinage.
