Description

The football ball on the coin symbolizes the globe. On the ball there is an image of the outline of a map of Germany with the designation of the cities in which the championship matches will be held. There are 24 stars around the ball, indicating the number of teams in the final part of the tournament.

The coins are made of 925/1000 silver using a new technology of high relief and gilding.
