Obverse: face value «50 TENGE» in the center; the ornamental octagonal outlet at the top and an element of the national ornament at the bottom; the abbreviation «National Bank of Kazakhstan».

Reverse: image of Taraz coat of arms in the centre, «REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN» and year of coinage «2013» along circumference. Inscriptions and number are divided by points.

Lateral face is grooved.
