The reverse of the coin is normal, though the averse is frosted proof (antiproof), only 5000 pcs were issued!

The lateral surface (drove) is grooved with 10 sectors of corrugation.
Averse: right part depicts stylized image of pelican head, the face value of the coin «50 TENGE», trade mark of Kazakhstan Mint; left part depicts two birds against water surface background; name of issuing bank in Kazakh along circumference.
Reverse: image of hawk-owl, name of the coin «SURNIA ULULA» in Latin and Kazakh; year of coinage “2010”.
