Description

The obverse of the silver coins of the “Great Silk Road” depicted the silhouettes of famous architectural and cultural monuments that are included in the list of cultural World Heritage of UNESCO. In the foreground is the designated route of the Silk Road’a stylized way, made of the highest standard of gold (999.9), in the background – map of Eurasia. The left side contains the purity and the weight of the metal (Ag 925/31,10 g), below – the denomination of the coin (10 som). On the reverse the State Emblem of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, a caravan going to the mountains, reflected, like a mirage on the mirror surface of the coin, and the issued year (2011).
