The SHYMBULAQ coin opens a series of coins called “Jewels of Kazakhstan”, designed to popularize the beauty and richness of our country’s nature. Within this series, coins dedicated to various natural attractions will be issued, including mountains and canyons, reservoirs and other natural objects.

The design of the SHYMBULAQ coin uses a stylized outline of a map of Kazakhstan, which depicts the Shymbulak ski resort and a skier surrounded by petroglyphs and elements of the “Saki style”. The geographical coordinates of the Shymbulak resort are indicated in the lower right corner of the coin.
