Diameter – 31 mm, thickness – 2 mm, weight – 11,37 gram

On observe side of coins of face value 20 tenge at the upper side there is the representation of Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and under it the figures of face value and inscription “TENGE” located in two rows. At the left and at the right sides of the face value the element of the national ornament is represented. There is a circle inscription “REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN”. The circle has prominent edging.

On the averse in the center there is a representation of the portrait of Abu Nasir Al-Farabi. There is a circle inscription “REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN”, which is divided at the bottom by the year of coinage.
