Sabit Mukanov was a classic figure in Kazakh literature, and was a poet, a public figure, and an academician. An autobiographical trilogy “The School of Life”, which reflects semi-centennial history of Kazakh people and which was translated into many languages of the world, is of special significance of the creative work of Mukanov.
