Two-colored (compound) coin has the shape of the circle that consists of concentrically located rings and a disk. The internal disk of the coin is made from alloy of “nickel” of white color, the external disk – from alloy of “nibrass” of yellow color. Right side All four coins have one picture of the right side.

In the middle against a background of the grooved circle there is two-lined inscription “100 TENGE”. On the circumference there are three elements of national ornament, divided on its upper part by the octagonal rosette; on the left side – by an inscription “NBK”, on the right side – by the logotype of Kazakhstan Mint. On the circumference there is an obtrusive edging.

Back side

1) In the center there is a representation of mythical figure of head of ritual animal archar, which is a copy of 1 tenge coin of 1993 issue. An element of national ornament and inscription “10 years of tenge” in state language are placed in the left part of the coin. On the circumference there are an inscription “Republic of Kazakhstan” in state language and figure “2003”, which means year of coinage. The legend and the year of issue divided by dots. On the circumference there is an obtrusive edging.

2) In the center there is a representation of mythical figure of ounce, which is a copy of 5 tenge coin of 1993 issue. An element of national ornament and inscription “10 years of tenge” in state language are placed in the right part of the coin. On the circumference there are an inscription “Republic of Kazakhstan” in state language and figure “2003”, which means year of coinage. The legend and the year of issue divided by dots. On the circumference there is an obtrusive edging.

3) In the center there is a representation of mythical bird, which is a copy of 10 tenge coin of 1993 issue. An element of national ornament and inscription “10 years of tenge” in state language are placed in the right part of the coin. On the circumference there are an inscription “Republic of Kazakhstan” in state language and figure “2003”, which means year of coinage. The legend and the year of issue divided by dots. On the circumference there is an obtrusive edging.

Images and inscription on the right side and the back side of the coin are relief.

Lateral surface is grooved with an inscriptions “one hundred tenge” in state and Russian language.

The issue comprises 100 000 pieces of each kind.
